Choose how you want to use the lake
Look at the recreation map with a particular outing in mind. Belton Lake’s parks have different facilities, and Miller Springs provides trails below the dam. Drive to your preferred destination from a home you like; the practical route can change your shortlist.
If boating matters, look at storage and maneuvering space at home as well as the trip to a suitable ramp. Visit the lot and picture a normal arrival with the equipment you use.
Understand the view and the boundary
A lake view and direct access are separate features. USACE owns land around Belton Lake and holds flowage easements on some privately owned land. Ask for the survey and identify the boundaries or easements that affect the property.
Compare the home’s condition and the work of maintaining its outdoor spaces. A setting you love should come with a clear view of what you will own. Lauren can discuss the property and confirm coverage before arranging the next steps.
